Since Psychotherapy and Counseling (drugless therapy) which is an indispensable scientific method in the management of mental health interventions and the same is now emerging as a significant discipline in India, our AeU Tiruvalla Centre is fully equipped to provide facilities to conduct Research and secure Ph.D. in Psychotherapy and Counseling / M.Phil in Guidance and Counseling from Asia e University, Kulau Lampur, Malaysia. This provides greater employment potential and exposure.

Eligibility: Research aspirants shall satisfy the following conditions of eligibility:

1. A Master’s Degree from a University approved at the national level or global level, with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant field of knowledge.

 

     2. The aspirant shall hold the relevant Master’s degree through 10+2+3 education system.

Period or Duration of Research:

All the non-M.Phil Researchers shall submit their thesis at the end of three years after registration, while the M.Phil Researchers shall submit their thesis at the end of two years after registration.

The maximum duration of research is 5 years from the date of registration. However, the maximum period shall be extended for one (1) more year to six years. Women researchers can avail further one more year of Extension and the maximum period of research for them is 7 years. 

Those who seek extension of period beyond the stipulated period, shall apply for an extension by paying the prescribed Extension fee Rs. 1000.00.

Course Fee etc.   Course fee, examination fee, thesis fee, viva expenses, etc. shall be payable  accordingly to the Ph.D. Regulations and the rules of the University from time to time.  Every Researcher is bound to abide by the rules of the Asia e University India.

Course materials shall be supplied by the University.

Examination scheme:  Each paper is of 100 marks out of  which 25 marks are earmarked on the basis of internal assessment and for the remaining, there is University examination.

Award :  Diploma/Degree/Post Graduate Degree/M.Phil/Ph.D. degree shall be awarded to all successful candidates by Asia e University, Kulau Lampur, Malaysia.  Pass out candidates are
at liberty to attend the University Convocation at Kulau Lampur, Malaysia and receive the Degree certificates. Interested candidates may inform the Asia e University Learning Centre, Tiruvalla immediately after the examination so that necessary arrangements shall be made.
